In the first quarter of 2024, the top five consumer finance apps on the Android platform in Mexico showcased varied performance metrics, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends.

Banco del Bienestar Móvil saw a significant number of downloads, peaking at over 543K in the week of January 22. However, downloads gradually declined to around 38K by the end of March. Despite the declining downloads, active users remained robust, starting at nearly 2M in early January and reaching a peak of approximately 2.8M in late January before settling at around 1.8M by the end of the quarter.

BBVA México maintained a steady download rate, with numbers fluctuating between 141K and 195K throughout the quarter. Active user numbers showed a general upward trend, starting from 7.9M and peaking at 8.5M in late February. The app consistently engaged over 8M users weekly for most of the quarter.

Nubank: conta, cartão e mais experienced stable download numbers, ranging from 113K to 148K weekly. Active users also exhibited a steady increase, beginning at 2.5M in early January and reaching approximately 2.6M by the end of March. This consistent engagement indicates a loyal user base.

Banco Azteca downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 94K and 116K per week. The app's active user base showed some variability, peaking at around 4.2M in late January before experiencing fluctuations and ending the quarter at roughly 3.7M active users.

Stori - Crédito y Ahorro had a varied download performance, starting strong at 142K in early January but dipping to around 62K by mid-February before slightly recovering to 71K at the end of March. Active users showed a steady presence, maintaining around 1M users throughout the quarter, with minor fluctuations.
